Password Policies
Passwords must meet the following minimum requirements when they are changed or created:
- password must be at least 7 characters long
- passwords must not contain more than 2 characters of the user's Account Name, surname or given name
- uppercase characters of English language (A through Z)
- lowercase characters of English language (a through z)
- base 10 digits (0 through 9)
- special characters, e.g. !@#$%&_-+=(){}[]<>,.?
- the characters :;äöüÄÖÜß are not permitted
- the password must not contain spaces
Example (mnemonic to remember):
- I'm a student since Autumn 2007 ! → IassA07!
